Time Magazine reports: "Who wants to sit in a car for three hours every day getting to their place of employment from the Inland Empire?" Dan Fasulo, managing director at commercial real estate research firm Real Capital Analytics says "Employers are finding that to attract the best people, they need to locate in places where there's access to multiple forms of transportation. One of those places is city centers."

In this article, Time compares city centers in horizontal Los Angeles and vertical New York City, noting some new developments in the City of Angels: Anschutz Entertainment Group's "Farmers Field" football stadium proposal.
