Chicago's Retail Spaces Still Hold Global Allure

Wall Street Journal reports: In the first half of '08, the Chicago metro area retail property sales totaled about $1.4 billion, based on transactions of $5 million or more. That's down about 30% from the first half of '07, but the Windy City was still the city with the highest retail deal volume.
