Canadian pension funds eye European property spree

The Guardian reports: Equity-rich Canadian pension funds are leading a stampede of international investors looking to cash in on steep commercial property price declines across Europe, a report on Friday showed. According to Real Capital Analytics, cross border investment into Canada represented 23 percent of total real estate investment volume in 2007.
