San Jose Ranked in the Top 10 for Q1 CRE Sales
San Jose Business Journal reports: San Jose ranked No. 10 in the nation for commercial real estate sales during the first quarter, according to a report issued by Real Capital Analytics Inc, a global commercial property research firm.
San Jose had 14 sales during the quarter, for a combined volume of $431.2 million.
One of those sales was the $9.97 million purchase by On Semiconductor Corp. of 3001 Stender Way in Santa Clara, a 61,824 square-foot property.
The buyer was Panattoni Development and the sale was handled by Colliers International. The property, built in 1978, sold for $161 per square foot.
On the ranking provided by Real Capital Analytics, San Francisco came in at No. 18, with 15 transactions and a combined total of $259.7 million.
No. 1 on the list was Manhattan, with 35 properties sold for a combined total of $1.36 billion.
