Peter Slatin is the editorial director and associate publisher of Real Capital Analytics. He is also a financial columnist for Forbes and editor of the Forbes/Slatin Real Estate Report. Slatin was the founder and editor of GRID Magazine and TheSlatinReport.com. Under his leadership, GRID Magazine received seven awards for editorial excellence. He has developed and led the Corporate Real Estate conference series for The Conference Board.
Slatin is a fellow at the Homer Hoyt Institute and serves on the editorial advisory board of Real Estate Portfolio, published by NAREIT. He's a longtime trustee of the Van Alen Institute, a 100-year-old organization dedicated to architecture, design and public space in New York City. In 2007, Slatin received the Oculus Award for Excellence in Architectural Journalism by the New York Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
Slatin was also a trustee of Lighthouse International, a provider of vision rehabilitation services to the blind and visually impaired. He's an avid cross-country skier and tandem cyclist.
