Troubled Assets Radar

Troubled Assets Methodology

RCA's research into CRE title records, CMBS filings, our proprietary commercial transaction data and other sources has yielded comprehensive statistics on troubled properties in 12 specific markets and the US commercial property sector in general.

Troubled Asset Radar reports feature a map of distress, an analysis by property type and troubled status, and a list of recently reported troubled properties, including assets with mortgages currently in default or foreclosure, those restructured/modified, or those already Lender REO.

Details: Important data points on troubled assets include: property name, address, property type & subtype, trouble type and date, year built, number of buildings/floors, number of units/sq.ft., recent sale or refinancing history, and key players (owner or lender).

Sources: Our staff scans literally thousands of sources daily, including public records, news articles and proprietary research from our data partners. No other firm is more comprehensive in its coverage of commercial real estate transactions.

Sortability: The Excel file contains all property data in a sortable table, so you can quickly zero-in on the distress, property types and locations that interest you most.

Data Current Through November 2011
