All Data includes properties and portfolios valued at 2.5 million USD or greater in the US and valued at 7.5 million USD or greater outside of the US.
While there is substantial investment activity which falls below these thresholds, it is not captured in the statistics. Transactions represent the transfer of a controlling interest in a property or portfolio of properties. Transactions are assumed to be fee simple; leasehold and commercial condominium interests are noted, if known. Transactions include asset sales and entity-level transactions. The sale of controlling partial interests is grossed up to reflect a full valuation of the property.
