Abbreviations


  • AKA: Also Known As. usually, this is used to describe an individual that is completing the deal as part of a larger company
  • JV: Joint Venture. A buyer or seller entity that is actually a joint venture of two or more independent companies.
  • OBO: On Behalf Of. Usually, this is used when an investment advisor has made the purchase for an institutional client.
