Converting Currencies and Measurements
Currencies
Deal values are tracked in whatever currency is reported. All reported currencies are converted to USD, EUR, GBP and JPY based on the conversion rates in effect on the first day of the month of publication of the cited source.
Measurement
- Office, Retail, and Industrial: units are tracked in square feet and square meters based on the most reliable source units we receive and automatically converted to the other.
- Hotel and Apartment: tracked on a units per property basis; based on the number of for lease units or hotel rooms in the property.
- Development Sites: area is tracked in four units: hectares, acres, square feet and square meters and again recorded from the most reliable source units and automatically converted to the remaining units.
