New Search Features from Real Capital Analytics September 2011  

RCA’s New Search Features include refinancing data, property transfers, new filtering options, enhanced players lists and multi-select property types:

  • You can select Multiple Property Types in the Advanced Search screen, to include or exclude specific types or subtypes before running your search.
  • Create a market report using our Trends & Trades link from virtually any search results.
  • We’ve enhanced the Top Players tab, now with useful time period filters as well as lists of Top Brokers.
  • In addition to sales transactions, Refinancings are now automatically included in Search Results — that’s over USD $1.2 Trillion in activity and 30,000 cap rates added as a result (largely U.S. data).
  • Foreclosures and other transfers, such as mezz. loan takeovers and deed-in-lieu deals, are also now included in results, adding over USD $87 Billion to RCA’s standard transactions (largely U.S. data). The Leads & Potential Opportunities tab has been removed consequently.
  • Filters can be used to limit any of this added data, as well as portfolios, after any search. Make your changes and press go.

Standardized Downloads: Historical Stats and Graphs
Looking for historical stats? Caps and spreads? Find monthly updates to the most requested data in Microsoft Excel Format: US Caps and Spreads, Net Investment, Historical Stats, Volume/Caps/Pricing, US Troubled Assets Radar, Global Volume & Cap Rates.

Cross-Border Capital Tracker
The new Cross-Border Capital Tracker allows subscribers to pinpoint which markets are being targeted and where the capital is coming from. See cross-border acquisitions globally or use the drop-down menus to reveal capital flows from any country to any country or market.

Local Currency Options
RCA has offered multiple currency options for some time (see “My Info/Options”), but global users can now select “Local Currency” to instantly translate prices on any search results screen, Trends & Trades and Cross-Border Capital Tracker.

Trends & Trades
RCA’s new Trends and Trades Market Research Tool is an interactive, commercial property investment dashboard to create real-time market reports and analyze transaction activity from Manhattan to Moscow.

Local Measurement Options
You may wish to use tsubos or pyeong as your preferred measurement when valuing commercial property sales in Asia. Convert search results on the fly or set your preferences for good.

Troubled Assets
RCA continues to update our database of assets that are troubled or potentially so – find recent commercial defaults, bankruptcies and foreclosures.

Send to a Friend
This feature allows you to show your colleagues a USCT article even if they’re not an RCA subscriber. They’ll receive an email with a special link, allowing them to read the article as if they had all the priveleges of your account, without having to log in. The link will expire after five uses.
