Chart: Hong Kong Historic Investment Trends

By on September 3rd, 2019

With all eyes on Hong Kong for signs that political unrest is hurting the city’s financial markets, Real Capital Analytics charted the commercial property deal trends for each year back to 2009.

Comparing 2019 investment volume trends to 2018 alone may put the current year in a harsh light since 2018 was a record year for Hong Kong commercial real estate volume. However, when assessed against the longer-term trend, cumulative investment in Hong Kong so far in 2019 has not been substantially affected.
