Chart: Largest Deals Lift European Volume

2017 can be characterized as the year of the big deal in Europe. Just under one-quarter of the total acquisition level was in transactions of €500 million and greater.

More than half of these deals were transacted via entity-level deals, a manifestation of the difficulties investors currently have in building portfolios piece by piece.
