U.S. commercial real estate prices rose in July, registering the strongest monthly gain since May, the latest RCA CPPITM summary report shows. The US National All-Property Composite index rose 1.2% in July from a month earlier and is up 7.9% from a year prior. Prices climbed in July even as transaction volume slipped.
Each property type index rose month-over-month in July. Retail, which is the only property type registering annual declines, grew 1.2% in July from a month earlier. Suburban office grew the most of the property types, at 1.9%.
